everything around with exception of his assigned task.

I believe it's fair to say I'm completely obsessed with photography. My wife brought this
to my attention years ago and I really didn't have an argument for the charge. Given my
condition it's unhealthy for me to be away from my camera for long periods of time, the
withdrawls are terrible.
I have been taking photos since I was a boy. My Kodak 110 was a good friend of
mine. I was composing shots and creating albums while my friends were trading
baseball cards. I was fortunate to grow up in beautiful Wyoming and travel
extensively throughout the United States as well as Europe (my family is Danish
which is where my name "Damgaard" comes from). I've seen so many beautiful
places and things and grew up with a creator's soul (thanks Mom & Dad).
Growing up in Wyoming had a dramatic impact on the way I view the world. Most people know Wyoming by the iconic Teton Mountains,
the majesty of Yellowstone, or the eerie beauty of Devil's Tower. I lived in the center of Wyoming, hours and hours (and hours) away from
these places. I learned to look deeper than the dry surface of the Western plains, to find the beauty most people miss. I spent days by
myself on those plains, and the beauty I found there remains part of me to this day.
Learning to find the hidden beauty in places (and sometimes in people) has been a gift. It helps me see things differently, and
appreciate them more.
Whether you're interested in working together for an engagement, wedding, family or corporate event, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, family or
senior portraits you will find me easy to work with and genuinely interested in how you want your special event photographed. Ultimately
there is a reason why my wife calls me obsessed, and if you think about it my affliction works to your benefit. I'll work tirelessly to get
"the" shot, "the" moment, "the" sideways glance or grin...to capture the little moments, to capture the spirit of my subject. Believe me, it
makes me just as happy as it will make you.
I take the same amount of pride and get as much satisfaction out of doing fine art photography. I find it hard to contain myself in one
style, I shoot what's interesting or beautiful to me...hopefully you will find it beautiful as well. Take a look at my gallery link where you can
